When a Filtered Blower Isn't Enough
Electra-Kool® filtered blowers cool electrical enclosures by moving filtered ambient air through the cabinet. When the surrounding air is too warm, or when the enclosure must be maintained below ambient temperature, a closed-loop refrigerated air conditioner may be required.
Kooltronic manufactures enclosure air conditioners that provide active refrigeration cooling while keeping the enclosure air isolated from the surrounding environment.

Guardian Series
The Kooltronic Guardian Series is designed for industrial electrical enclosure cooling in indoor and outdoor applications. Available configurations include NEMA 12, 3R, and 4 models, with cooling capacities ranging from compact enclosure applications through larger control and drive cabinets.

GuardianX Series
GuardianX models are intended for applications requiring NEMA 4X construction and additional corrosion resistance. These configurations may be appropriate for washdown areas, corrosive environments, coastal installations, food-processing facilities, and other demanding industrial locations.
SlimKool Series
SlimKool enclosure air conditioners are designed for applications where cabinet width and installation space are limited. Their narrow configuration makes them suitable for control panels, electrical cabinets, and other installations where a wider enclosure air conditioner may not fit.

Access Series
Kooltronic Access Series air conditioners are designed for applications where enclosure depth is especially limited. Their low-profile construction can make them suitable for kiosks, control panels, enclosure doors, and other installations where conventional enclosure air conditioners require too much space.
Filtered Blower or Air Conditioner?
The correct cooling method depends on ambient temperature, internal heat load, enclosure requirements, contamination concerns, and the temperature that must be maintained inside the cabinet.
