High-Capacity Oil Removal for Hot and Chemically Aggressive Fluids
The Maxi-Skimmer SSP/2 combines a fixed 30 RPM drive with a 2.25 in or 4 in stainless steel belt for parts washers, heated process tanks, industrial sumps, and applications involving chemicals or non-neutral-pH fluids. Select from five standard reach lengths or request a custom configuration.
Performance and Belt Selection
30 RPM
Fixed-speed motor provides consistent industrial oil-skimming operation.
Up to 6 GPH
High-capacity collection with the widest belt configuration. Actual performance depends on belt width and application conditions.
2.25 in Stainless Steel Belt
The narrower stainless configuration for applications with less available belt clearance. Available in all five standard reaches.
4 in Stainless Steel Belt
Provides the widest standard oil-contact surface and the highest collection capacity available for the SSP/2.
Choose the Correct Reach
Reach is measured from the bottom of the mounting plate to the bottom of the tail pulley. Select a reach that keeps the tail pulley submerged without allowing it to contact the bottom of the tank.

- UHMW belt scraper and stainless steel collection trough
- Stainless steel tail pulley and retention chain
- 3 ft discharge hose
- Ground-fault circuit interrupter
Not included: The adjustable MAXI-Stand, Wayne P/N 30823, is compatible but sold separately.
Before Ordering
Confirm the required belt width, reach, available mounting clearance, tank depth, fluid temperature, and chemical compatibility before selecting a configuration.
Standard power is 115 V, single phase, 60 Hz. Configurations for 220 V, single phase, 50 or 60 Hz are available by request.
Installation safety: Keep the motor and wiring clear of fluid. Connect the skimmer to grounded, GFCI-protected power.
