High-Temperature Chloroprene Belt for Select Mini-Skimmer Applications
The Mini-Skimmer™ High-Temperature Cogged Chloroprene Replacement Belt is a specialty belt option for applications where elevated operating temperature can reduce the service life of standard polyurethane belts. Each belt is 1 in. wide, continuous, fiberglass reinforced, completely smooth on the outside and cogged on the inner drive surface.
Key Features
- Maximum belt operating temperature: 194°F (90°C)
- 1 in. wide black chloroprene belt
- Completely smooth outer pickup surface
- Positive-drive cogged inner surface
- 3/8 in. L-series timing-belt pitch
- Trapezoidal cog profile
- Fiberglass tensile-cord reinforcement
- Continuous closed-loop construction
- Available for 5, 8, 12, 18 and 24 in. Mini-Skimmer reaches
Choose the Correct Belt
Select the replacement belt by your Mini-Skimmer reach or by the circumference of the existing belt. Reach and belt circumference are different measurements.
Belt Construction
Smooth Outside
The outer pickup surface is completely smooth with no exterior ribs, grooves or teeth.
Cogged Inside
The inner surface uses a positive-drive trapezoidal cog profile for engagement with the Mini-Skimmer drive system.
Fiberglass Reinforced
Fiberglass tensile-cord reinforcement helps maintain dimensional stability during operation.
Continuous Construction
Endless closed-loop construction with a 3/8 in. L-series timing-belt pitch.
High-Temperature Application Option
This chloroprene belt is intended for select Mini-Skimmer applications where elevated temperature is the primary limitation on standard polyurethane belt service life.
Fluid compatibility should be verified for specialized process solutions, aggressive chemistry or prolonged oil exposure. Chloroprene is a high-temperature specialty option and should not be treated as a universal replacement for polyurethane or stainless steel.
